WELCOME BACK to all of our Food Box customers who have come back from a long, mostly beautiful summer seaon to get back into the "swing of things."
With the school year well under way, we find ourselves with 2 more weeks of summer left. Gradually, we are heading towards the fall veggie season (did I hear someone mention squash?).
BASKET UPDATE: This week, Green Beans that had been planned for the Local, Blender and Wild Baskets were not up to standard. We replaced them with more sightly veggies, as you will see when checking in to the Basket Contents - Green Beans stroked out and substitute veggie marked in red. Some will be delighted to see that Basil was chosen as a substitution in the Small Blender and Small Wild Baskets.
Fennel Extra: You may have found some small-sized fennel in your Food Boxes this week. These were some "freebees" from the Farm. Hope you like fennel. Enjoy!
