1. What products can I order for home delivery?


You can order a wide range of certified organic items from our online Catalogue — including pre-packed Food Baskets (Local, Wild, Fruit, Blender, Smoothie, BITZI), produce, dairy & eggs, grocery items, bakery goods, meat & fish, vegan alternatives, superfoods, pet supplies, health & beauty, home goods, and more.

 

 

2. How do I place a home delivery order?


Orders can be placed directly through our online checkout, by phone, or by email — whichever is most convenient for you.

 

 

3. Can I customize my order?


Yes! Along with our pre-packed Food Baskets, you can create custom orders from our full online Catalogue.

 

 

Delivery Schedule & Areas

 

4. Where do you deliver?


We deliver once a week year-round to communities in Waterloo Region, Cambridge, Guelph, Brantford, Stratford, Paris, Elmira, and surrounding areas. Additional areas may be added upon request or for an extra fee.

 

 

5. When can I expect my delivery?


Deliveries are scheduled weekly on Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday, depending on your location and delivery route — with specific time windows shared when you place your order.

 

 

6. What is the deadline to order for next week’s delivery?


Orders must be placed by Saturday at noon for the following week’s delivery. Orders placed after this deadline will be scheduled for the next available delivery.

 

 

Delivery Costs & Fees

 

7. Are delivery charges included?


For Food Baskets (Small, Large, Smoothie or BITZI) and any Catalogue order with Add-Ons, delivery is free within our standard delivery areas.

 

 

8. What are the delivery fees for custom orders?


Custom orders (Catalogue items not part of a Food Basket) under $100 incur an $8 delivery fee. Custom orders of $100 or more qualify for free delivery.

 

 

9. Are there additional fees for outlying delivery areas?


Yes — deliveries outside the usual service zone may have added delivery charges. We already deliver to certain outlying areas for an extra delivery fee of $10.00.  Contact us for details on your exact location.

 

 

Bin Handling & Storage

 

10. How are baskets delivered?


First-time or occasional orders are delivered in cardboard or wax produce boxes. Standing orders receive produce in reusable plastic bins.

 

 

11. Is there a deposit for delivery bins?


Yes — there’s a refundable $25 bin deposit for customers on a standing delivery order. We’ll return your deposit when the bin is returned in good condition.

 

 

12. What should I do if I’m not home at delivery time?


You can leave a cooler at your door, provide access to a garage/side door, leave out a heavy blanket or sleeping bag in which to wrap the basket, or arrange for a neighbour to receive it. Please note Pfenning’s is not responsible for damage if you leave unsecured access.

 

 

Payments & Cancellations

 

13. How can I pay for my order?


We accept Interac e-Transfer, cash, or cheque on delivery. For e-Transfers, send to our designated email: [email protected].  Should your order be Custom or contain Add-Ons, please, wait with your eTransfer until after receiving your final total from us.

 

 

14. What if I need to cancel or reschedule?


Late cancellations (after your order cutoff or due to delivery access issues) may incur a $5 fee. NSF cheques are subject to a $20 fee.

You can log in to your account and view your Order Status online, or contact us directly if you have questions or adjustments.
